Spring is here and we are ready to do some spring cleaning at Pfeiffer Nature Center! You can show appreciation for nature this Earth Day by assisting at our annual trail clearing and cleanup event. It is the perfect way to enjoy the woods while helping to keep our grounds and trails well maintained and accessible.

The warm weather is here and now it's time to enjoy the feel of the sun on the large steel sculptures at one of Cattaraugus County's most favorite parks....Griffis Sculpture Park! The park features over 250 large scale sculptures dispersed through miles of hiking trails.

Enjoy a visit to the Pfeiffer cabin which is listed on the national and state registers of historic places. The American Chestnut cabin is a very well preserved specimen of rustic style whose basic integrity has remained unchanged since its 1939/1940 construction. The cabin is a true gem of the Lillibridge preserve and an indoor exploration is not to be missed!
A BICENTENNIAL CELEBRATION is being planned to celebrate the Town of Little Valley's 200th Birthday! The celebration begins on August 25, 2018 and continue into the 26th with a parade and closing ceremony! Craft (prefer actual handmade) and food vendors will be located in the Park.

Watch apple cider being pressed, a blacksmith making tools, and butter churning. Learn about quilting, crop harvesting and more skills necessary in the 1800s. There will also be historical items on display; like antique engines and so much more!
Pfeiffer Nature Center is pleased to announce our photography contest and show! There are four categories for entries: Autumn, Winter, Spring, and Summer! This contest is open to all ages.
Delight in an afternoon of nature with your children or grandchildren at the Lillibridge preserve while engaging in many fun fall activities. Enjoy cider and doughnuts, “train” rides, pumpkin decorating, arts and crafts, and trick or treating along the interpretive trail. Costumes are encouraged to add to the fun!
