Demon Files at the Haunted Hinsdale House

The haunted house in Hinsdale, perhaps the most famous haunted house in the area, has all the elements of a good ghost story: a mysterious history, strange sightings, unexplainable events and even an exorcism.

Mike Dolan and Brian McCauley are best known for being on Destiantion Americas hit show "The Demon Files" They are both excited to come to the Hinsdale House and share their Expertise in the field with us all.

Hinsdale House Restoration Project Presents this Exclusive Ghost tour on Saturday October 28th 2017. Your experience will include a campfire, Mike and Brian will give you a low down of their history and experiences, also tour of the Grounds and the historic building. You will get history and Stories from your guide, we will provide some ghost hunting equipment to see if we can connect with the other side. If you have your own ghost hunting equipment we highly recommend that you bring it. Get your exclusive limited tickets for only $40.

Please bring a flash light and wear appropriate clothing for outdoors.

Most Residents are Amish in the Town of Leon

There are approximately 1,380 residents in Leon with the Amish Community comprising about 76% of that number. The Old Order Amish settled in Leon in 1949. They do not believe in the modern conveniences. They have no electricity in their homes + travel by horse and buggy. 

If you are looking for someplace interesting to go, try the Leon area. It is right in the heart of Amish Country.
