Timberwolf program at Nannen Arboretum

On Wednesday, June 13, 2018 the Nannen Arboretum Society, Inc. will host its next speaker in the 2018 educational series.  At 6pm, Joseph C. Allen from the Earth Spirit Educational Services will present fascinating information about wolves. In 1995, Yellowstone National Park embarked on a reintroduction program to increase the number of wolves in its park. Information will be provided about how and why the program was so successful. A wolf population of nine packs quickly increased to two hundred packs. This is testimony to the success of the program. Mr. Allen will use a power point presentation of photos and facts. He will also bring an actual wolf that has gone through the taxidermy process. It will provide a personal, interactive experience with a wolf.

Join us for this incredible presentation on Wednesday , June 13 at 6pm at the Town Center at 28 Parkside, Ellicottville, NY. to learn about the importance and well-being of the wolf. The event will be held rain or shine. A fee of $5 will be collected at the door, No reservation is needed.

Earth Spirit Educational Services provides diverse environmental education programs to the general public reconnecting them to the natural world through enhanced awareness, appreciation and understanding which fosters a relationship of responsible stewardship with all of Nature.
