Cadiz Flag Day Celebration 2019

On Sunday, June 9th Ischua Valley Historical Society will hold its Annual Flag Day Celebration at the Howe-Prescott Pioneer House on Route 98 N. in Cadiz.  The event will begin with a community picnic at 1:00 PM.  Hot dogs and beverages will be provided and you are invited to come and bring a dish to pass if possible.

Music will be provided by the Rushford Band.  There will be a flag raising ceremony at 2:00 P.M. and a short program will follow.  This year we will be honoring the men who served in the Vietnam War from our area.  We will read the names of the soldiers from Ischua Valley who gave their lives during this conflict and we will highlight the life of one of our fallen heroes.  There will also be a guest speaker on another war that men from here participated in.

We ask you to remember our veterans and fallen heroes by joining us in honoring our flag and the men who fought or died for us.  We would like to reach out especially to veterans and families who were involved in the Vietnam War.
