"Friends of Little Valley" presents Music in the Park & Cornhole Tournament!

Bicentennial Park - LV

Come down to Bicentennial Park on Erie St. in Little Valley Thursday, August 22nd for the final "Music in the Park" this summer hosted by Friends of Little Valley along with a cornhole tournament hosted by $lick $hooters Cornhole! 

Music begins at 6pm, featuring the "Iron Eyes Experience", a local three piece group based out of Salamanca. The band is well known for their rock and blues style that can be heard echoing throughout the enchanted mountains of Cattaraugus County!

Step Right Up at the Cattaraugus County Fair

Cotton candy, fried food, rides, animal shows, and live entertainment, are all available at the Cattauragus County Fair. Make plans to catch the demolition derby, monster trucks, or a concert. Have some good old fashioned fun! The fair is held yearly, the first week in August.

New Albion

New Albion is named after Albion in Orleans County, New York, the source of some early settlers.

The Town of New Albion is in the northwest quadrant of the county, northwest of the City of Salamanca.

Gowanda

Gowanda is a town and village that is in Cattaraugus County and Erie County.

Gowanda was settled in 1810 by Turner Aldrich and incorporated as Gowanda in 1848. The name "Gowanda" came from the Seneca Indian phrase of "a valley among the hills" or "under the cliffs."
