Come down to Bicentennial Park on Erie St. in Little Valley Thursday, August 22nd for the final "Music in the Park" this summer hosted by Friends of Little Valley along with a cornhole tournament hosted by $lick $hooters Cornhole!
Music begins at 6pm, featuring the "Iron Eyes Experience", a local three piece group based out of Salamanca. The band is well known for their rock and blues style that can be heard echoing throughout the enchanted mountains of Cattaraugus County!
Allegany State Park has set aside 55 miles of trails spread out on 65,000 acres, specifically for summertime equestrian use. The horse trails are on a series of interconnecting loop trails that utilize gravel park roads, abandoned town roads and abandoned railroad rights-of-way. You will ride on hillside, rolling and level trails.

Come early and celebrate Earth Day with making bird feeders using recyclable materials. The Challenger Learning Center announced the return of their popular space quiz event! Join in to test your space knowledge and also support a local organization. The event will feature a quiz with prizes for the winning team. You can participate in a team of 2-5 players.
Apart from the quiz, we will also have raffles with exciting prizes such as a Cutco Block, a $100 gift certificate from the Greater Olean Area Chamber of Commerce, a $50 AMC gift certificate, and more. You can still purchase raffle tickets even if you are not attending the event.
Learn about the Butterflies of Allegany State Park. Park Educator and butterfly enthusiast Tom LeBlanc will guide you through the butterflies that are found here and the research on the butterflies of the park. The presentation will take place at 1:00 p.m. at the Camp Allegany Classroom.
