"Our Veterans, Their Stories" Exhibit Grand opening event to be held in honor of the participating Veterans that made the project possible. In celebration, Steve Appleby, curator of the Eldred World War II Museum will speak.

The event will be held at the Cattaraugus County Museum.

Please bring your own chair.

COVID-19 protocols will be observed.

Clare Mark is the highest elevation in Cattaraugus County

The highest point in Cattaraugus County is Clare Mark, at 2,430 feet.  This mount, in the Town of Allegany off Chipmunk Road, is privately owned, and does not have public access for hiking.  Nearby attractions are Rock City Park and Allegany State Park.
