Carter Event Center in Allegany NY

With 10,000 square feet and room for 860 people the year-old Daniel Carter Event Center and Auction building is the second largest facility in the area to hold weddings, receptions, anniversaries or whatever, and offers a little more class than the local fire hall according to Daniel Carter.

The handsome building located just off the Allegany exit 24 of I-86 is visible from the interstate. It was built by Amish craftsmen in just three months after Carter was able to pick up acreage he had, had his eye on for some time.

As an event center, prices vary depending on what type of event you wish to hold.  Please call (716-372-5059) for pricing.  It has a moveable stage and state-of-the-art sound system, 100 tables and 300 chairs, soffit lighting to make it romantic, a custom kitchen which can be used as a bar, and a back room for caterers to drive into, pleasant restrooms and space available for changeing clothes if necessary. It is also completely air conditioned. Most importantly, it also has three full-time staff people to help with ordering linens, catering and music.
