Experience the heartbeat of Portville on Wednesday evenings at Pioneer Park from 6:30pm until 7:30pm.
Join in for a summer-long celebration of community and sound. Whether you're a local or just passing through, the Music in the Park series offers the perfect midweek escape with live performances from a rotating lineup of talented artists.
Music in the Park is held each Wednesday from 6:30pm – 7:30pm at the Pioneer Park Gazebo. The music plays regardless of the forecast, but if it is rained out- then the performance will be moved to the Weston Mills Fire Hall.

Help us kick off this yearlong celebration and get your New Year off to a great start with a hike in Allegany State Park along the newly finished Quaker Run Area Multi-Use Trail.
Celebrate Earth Day with the Haul Together Community Cleanup on Saturday, April 18th from 8am - 6:00pm. It will be a day of fresh air and local impact across Olean and Allegany. Join the main group on their park-hopping schedule or tidy up a favorite spot on your own time.

Discover the history of Allegany State Park- January 1, 2026. This year’s First Day Hike is an easy trek featuring historical and environmental tidbits of information about the features found in this area of the park. Your hike will take you along the Quaker Multiuse trail that conveniently has an entrance at Camp Turner.
At 11:30 a.m. join park educators for a guided hike at Science Lake and learn the history and interesting historical figures of the park. The Historical Society will have the Quaker Museum open from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
