Join Allegany State Park for a special evening with guest presenter Michelle Miller, Mohawk-Turtle, at Camp Allegany on November 15th, starting at 5:30pm. Experience the tradition of cooking over the coals, a practice the Seneca have embraced for centuries. Enjoy delicious food, captivating stories, and a walk under the Beaver Full Moon, all while celebrating Indigenous identity and culture.

Come on down to Bicentennial Park in Little Valley to enjoy a FREE movie night on Thursday, June 27th hosted by Friends of Little Valley! 

This event opens at 7:00pm, Movie (Wonka) starts at 7:30pm. 

Bring your own seat and blanket to enjoy the movie! Refreshments, games, and more! 

Thursday 6/27: the carnival is open from 6:00 PM until 11:00 PM. Water fights are planned for 6:30 PM in front of the fire station. Registration starts at 6:00. The "Sticktights" band will be playing around 7:00 PM.

Get ready to rev up your engines at the South Dayton Tractor Pull on September 14th, 2025, from 9am-5pm for an action-packed day of tractor pulls, excitement, and fun!  

Don't miss out on the thrill of watching powerful tractors in action!

• Any year tractor is welcome.
• $5 Admission - Hitch Fee, $10/Class for Pullers
• Scales Open at 10 am - Pull Begins at Noon

It's Christmas In Allegany Santa House season!

Visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus at their house in Allegany.

There will be three, two-person one act plays performed.

The Guerrilla Theatre Project will arrive at the sculpture park on Friday evening, then proceed to write three brand new one-act plays, audition performers, rehearse and perform the plays - all in 24 hours. The performances will take place at 7:00 p.m. at different locations at the Mill Valley Road section of the park.

Music in the Park Returns July 25th, 2024 featuring Kokomo Time Band 

They will be playing a collection of festive, feel good music including 50's - 70's Oldies, Cajun - Tex - Mex, and Fun Beach Party Music. Check out the band at https://www.facebook.com/funbandnumber1/ 

Join the Gowanda Area Chamber of Commerce every Thursday in July at beautiful Chang Hu Park for FREE live music, food, snacks, 50/50 raffles, and fun for the whole community!
