Not Once, Not Twice, but GOACC Brings You StrOlean Three Times in 2018!  Greater Olean Area Chamber of Commerce held its first ever StrOlean August 2017. This new event was defined as an event to be held in downtown Olean; event goers were able to saunter, amble, wander, walk North Union Street; and able to enjoy food, music, fine arts, classic cars and fun for all ages.

Olean Public Library - book sale 3-6pm
Olean Theatre Workshop - A 50s experience, come and listen to some of your favorite songs
   from the 50s and 60s, learn some 50s and 60s dance moves and see what Olean was like
   in the 50s and 60s. 5:30-8:30pm.
Dance Arts Olean - strolling Dancers
Storm Athletics All-Star Cheerleading's Halloween Costumer Party - $5 cost but open to
  anyone.  Games, Music, Light snacks from 6-8pm.
Toe Heel Twisters Line Dancers - demonstrations 6-6:30pm.  Check out the group's line
   dancing moves, participants are from all over the Southern Tier with many from Olean
Eade Fitness 24/7
- 5pm, 6-7 pm - Bench Press Rep Out, FREE for EF24/7 members, fee for
   non members

Walking tours of Downtown Olean by The African American Center for Cultural Development at 4pm and 6pm.  Tour will be approximately 30 minutes long and start at the Greater Olean Area Chamber of Commerce, located at 301 N. Union St.

Guided tours of St. Mary of the Angels Basilica - 5:30pm guided group tour, 3-9pm to tour on own.  Fascinating 45 minute tour of the 103 year old gothic building filled with spectacular art, history, and architecture. They have been on this lot since 1852! Listen to amazing stories from Olean's history.

StrOlean will feature a host of events — this festival is a walkable event throughout North Union Street. Loads of events up and down the street include: scavenger hunt, music at restaurants, beer tasting, yoga, pop up vendors, arts and crafts vendors, the movies shown on the inflatable movie screen and more. The start time of each event will be coordinated to give attendees a chance to attend as many as possible.  StrOlean is also a means for the community to show off what downtown Olean has to offer to those from out of town.
